The University of Calgary is a publicly funded research-intensive university founded in 1966, with 14 faculties offering more than 250 academic programs, and more than 50 research institutes and centres. As one of Canada’s top comprehensive research universities, UCalgary combines the best of university tradition with the city of Calgary’s vibrant energy and diversity.
Led by a team of volunteers and full-time staff, the Chamber provides a forum for debate on critical issues, an innovative public policy solution provider and a destination for networking with other members of the Calgary business community.

City of Calgary
The Corporation of The City of Calgary is designated by the Province of Alberta through the Municipal Government Act as the official administrative body for Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
The City of Calgary delivers more than 500 lines of business, from road design and transit planning to dog licensing, enforcement, environmental protection and staffing and running public recreational facilities.
